Possessions better left to others:
Books made of skin.
You know, when a serial killer collects goods like this, it’s another step towards their capture and conviction. When a distinguished library does it, in struts the First Amendment. And here I thought this was an urban legend.
ewwwwww! Makes my bookcover crawl!
Hey, if it’s good enough for the Necronomicon then it’s good enough for me.
Does the Necronomicon actually exist, though? I was under the impression it was a fraud, in the same vein of the Protocols of Zion.
In other words, someone latched onto a myth and wrote something to fit a legend, rather than a text fomenting its own history.
The superstores sell a paperback version ( or did at one time ) of the Necronomicon. Wonder if they’ll reissue a special Ed Gein edition.
Hi rutreau, long time no see. I trust your loved ones all surrvived the hurricane season with flying colors?
Yes, it is very much a myth. Although you probably don’t want to speak such blasphemy to the Lovecraft geeks, who believe the book actually exists, somewhere.
Perhaps someday people will say the same of Anne Rice and the Vampire Chronicles.
